Life (The natural cycle)

Life moves on swiftly as a breeze

Often, we are left with only a feel,

Of the days passed in peace,

Touching gently, can’t ever be seized.

Remains progressive to the core

Myriads of experiences which help us grow

Every moment a new mystery unfolds

Which touches the deepest of our souls.

These moments contain events

Which cherish our daily life

In these moments resides

An assurance of eternity

These moments provide

All the experiences and vitality.

As an infant we are born

Oblivious to the world around

In the parents care we learn

To take slow steps and then to run.

The purity within shines through the eyes

The playful ways make the life bright.

We enter our childhood which passes so fast

We realize only when the golden time has elapsed

Only memories remain of the sweet past.

We sit down and often ponder

About the fun filled days and the playful moods

The innocence of the childhood never strays

From the source of life

From where we inherit those traits.

Time then has its own ways

It neither stops nor waits

Years pass and we grow in age

Passing through life’s every stage.

Yet deep within the truthful core

Where the soul resides and gradually soars

The childhood and the innocence continues to dwell

Inspiring us to learn life’s every lesson well.

We seldom notice when the childhood is replaced

With the zest of youth

Youth is like the breath of spring

Brings in the freshness

Which makes the heart sing.

Like the flower which has newly bloomed

Youth instills new vitality and many new tunes.

Life then seems like a newly wedded bride

Striving for beauty and perfection with every stride.

Gradually we evolve and grow

We take every responsibility as we mature

We see our children grow in front of our eyes

In our soul, we realize the completeness of our life.

The experiences of life get added on

We continue to mature as we move on

The zest of youth, is then directed

To seek rationality and truth.

Then comes the age of retrospection

We spend a lot of time in introspection and careful reflection

We wonder about life’s mysterious ways

Ponder over the presence of some special grace.

We thus walk through the journey called life Gradually learning and becoming wise.
